Channelside sits between downtown Tampa and the port, anchored by Amalie Arena and the growing collection of restaurants and bars at Sparkman Wharf. Most of what is here has been built or renovated in the last decade, making it one of Tampa's newer neighborhoods by character if not by geography. On game nights it is one of the most active areas in the city; on other nights it is easy to find a good seat.
